- 128 credit hours completed
- 12 hours each in Cluster A, B, C (note specific rules)
- Foreign/Minority/Gender and International Requirements
BS Degrees do not require a foreign language

- Plus upper division Geology Electives to add to 40 hours of Geology (may include Geol 201 if taken before Geol 341)

Before graduating with a B.S. degree in Geology each student will be asked to complete a geology assessment test on which he/she must achieve a score of at least 60% before graduating. This is a part of the Geology Program's approved assessment process.
