Paleontology & Paleobiology
Professor Kammer conducts research on evolutionary paleoecology of Paleozoic marine invertebrates. His work on Mississippian crinoids involves the study of niche breadth and its control on species longevity and evolutionary rates Geology, v.25, p.219-222). His students have worked on a variety of topics including Devonian and Mississipian trace fossils, fossil communities, and sequence stratigraphy.
