Requirements for a Minor in Geology
A minor in Geology requires 16 credit hours of Geology courses, which must include Geol 101 and 102 or Geol 110 and 111. Of the remaining 12 hours, 3 may be chosen from the following list of 100- and 200-level courses:
At least 9 hours must be upper-division (300- or 400-level). Appropriate 300- and 400-level courses for the minor are:
Students must achieve a grade-point average of at least 2.0 in all geology courses applied toward the minor. Courses graded P/F may not be applied toward the geology minor. |
