Groundwater Vistas by Jim and Doug Rumbaugh, ESI Inc.

A state-of-practice interactive preprocessor/post-processor for MODFLOW in a Windows environment -- the first truly numerical model of groundwater flow for most people. The central focus of the course for intergrating flow, transport, and pathline models

MODFLOW

The USGS 3-D Modular Groundwater Flow model -- the "world-standard" public-domain groundwater flow modeling code. A flexible finite-difference approach to modeling natural aquifers.

FRACWORKS

MAFIC

by Golder and Associates

The fracture generation and modeling code of Golder and Associates. FracWorks generates three dimensional realizations of discrete feature geology using based on physically measurable parameters to produce geologically realistic discrete feature networks. FracWorks DFN models have been implemented for sites in sandstone, limestone/dolomite, siltstone, marl, and crystalline rocks. FracWorks includes features for visualization, statistical analysis, and export to MAFIC (fracture flow code).
