IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Note:  Dr. Lang will be at a conference in China for the first two weeks of the Fall semester!  The Geol 284 Class will meet with the TA Johnathan Moore on August 24-26, at which time you will receive the syllabus and be introduced to Mineralogy.  There will be no class August 28.  You will meet August 30 and Sept 2 to take the two-part Geology Program Pre-assessment Test (to test the Geology Program, not you!).  There will be no class Sept. 4, but the Geol 284 Labs will meet as scheduled during the first two weeks of classes.  Dr. Lang will meet with you on Sept. 9 and Geol 284 will begin in earnest!  If you have questions about the Geol 284 Mineralogy class, please ask Johnathan Moore (132 Brooks); if you need to be signed into the course, please see Dr. Tom Kammer (243 Brooks) or the Department Office (330 Brooks).
