Grant Awards

Grant from the Royal Society to present papers on Geographic Information Systems at the International Geographical Union and International Geographical Congress meetings in Paris and Zurich 1984, $1,000.

Grant from the Faculty Development Fund of West Virginia University, USA, to advise on the implementation of computer-based Geographic Information System at W.V.U., 1985, $600.

Research for the degree of Ph.D. was funded by a Social Science Research Council competitive Pool Studentship Award

Recipient of various WVU Faculty Travel and Development Grants to present a papers at conferences.
