Undergraduate student Francesca Basil summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
The Department of Geology and Geography provides undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to understand the complexities of natural and human environments. Students in geology, geography, and environmental geoscience learn analytical skills, apply their experience in the field and meet professionals from a broad cross-section of one of the fastest-growing career sectors worldwide.

Message from the Chair, Dr. Brent McCusker: We welcome students to learn about their world and their many interactions with it in Geology, Geography, and Environmental Geoscience. We seek to foster diversity and provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. Our faculty and staff encourage questions and we are all committed to your success.
