Shobha Yadav

GEOGRAPHY PHD STUDENT

Shobha is a climatologist investigating the change in regional atmospheric conditions due to land degradation and its consequence on summer monsoon and social vulnerability in the Tibetan Plateau.

Her research focuses on monsoon climate, climate modeling, land use change, water resource and remote sensing. Her qualification includes a M.Sc. in Environmental Management from the School of Design and Environment of the National University of Singapore and a MA in Humanities and Social Science from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in Environment Science from Kathmandu University, Nepal.
