Participate in Day of GivingWVU Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising effort that brings together alumni, friends, and supporters to make a collective difference across West Virginia University. This year’s focus is unrestricted scholarship support, giving WVU the flexibility to help meet students’ most pressing scholarship needs.

Funding from donors helped me get to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where I'm currently undergoing a five-month study abroad program. Living in and learning about this country has been the experience of a lifetime.
With help from donors, I was able to afford the plane ticket that got me out here. My experience at WVU has been highly unique. It has not been short of generosity, and that's something that I've been able to learn so much from. I see myself becoming a donor one day, once I land a job with the degrees I have earned.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with professors who impressed me from day one and inspired me to invest fully in this field. Because of this department, I’ve chosen to continue into a master’s program, and along the way I’ve gained research experience, earned my own office, and built a CV I never would have thought possible just a few years ago.
