Students usually decide which track to pursue during their second semester of graduate study. Refer to MA in Geography Plan of StudyAn MA requires 30 academic credit hours depending on the track selected and typically takes two years to complete.  Applicants are required to list the names of potential advisors in their application and therefore should contact faculty in their proposed area of specialization before applying.
